Social Media Manager
Overview This is one buzzy world we live in today, and many of our clients are raring to bring their social media accounts to life. First, our Social Media Manager will be responsible for crafting a smart, practical strategy that takes into account the importance of mobile, the use of paid and earned media when it comes to growing both numbers and engagement (we’re looking at you, Facebook!), and the guidance that analytics provides. You will be curating and creating for Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram.
Finally, you’ll be working with Marketing and PR to make sure that everyone is singing the same tune when it comes to emphasizing the right stories and memes across all channels. You will also provide insights into the kinds of stories that thrive in social.
Profile As a social media pro, you have lots and lots of knowledge about what works, what doesn’t, and what might work (but still warrants a try). You know your way around Google’s Universal Analytics and ESP, and you also know when a gut check is in order. You have a good sense of the major apps for leading campaigns, contests and sweepstakes, and you also know how to build a social media calendar that fits the needs of an organization and that has good analytics reporting built in.
Extra Credit In your heart of hearts, you’re a digital marketing generalist. You’ve done work with e-commerce, apps as well as SEO/SEM. And you understand that social needs to do its part in driving key performance indicators like sales and list building.
